[Travel] Fraser, Matthew William (d. 1929) Archive of Documents Regarding his Medical Work in Africa. Including approximately 400 documents circa 1898-1927, the majority are receipts for supplies, clothing, scientific instruments, drugs and medicines, in London and in Africa; financial papers; official accreditations, documents, and eleven letters of reference; a letter from 1910 confirming his appointment as Medical Officer in the West African Medical Staff; a signed certificate from Glasgow University; a small instrument kit in a leather case; all housed in a tin document box.
